rosemary and lavender -- yes! i had several wonderful stands of lavender, different varieties, some with extraordinary long stems I could braid -- but all my lavender bit the dust over the last couple years with the exception of the Spanish lavender with its great cerise flags. I think the other lavenders I lost was due to too much watering. Next time I will put better draining soil where I plant them. They lasted for 8 years or longer though; I used to cut them back pretty severely once a year. Wonderful stuff -- lavender.

We did not go to Carter's. We went to Salacoa Creek Park. It is a stock lake in Ranger, Georgia. It is very nice and clean there. I enjoyed it...even though I did fall and hurt myself more.
I am not too far from Suwanee at all, just a few minutes actually. I am in L'ville.
